It always amazes me how fast the days and months fly by. In the moment, they seem to last forever. Looking back, they fly by.

So much so, that we often forget to take the time to reflect on what’s happened through the month.

That’s why I love doing these monthly reviews. I get to see how the blog did in a general sense, I get to honor people who helped out the blog, and I get to share exciting happenings with you guys!

How To Destroy Your Influence Through Social Media

Social media is a great tool, one that I love dearly. Who doesn’t, right?

It’s great to be able to catch up with old high school friends on Facebook. It’s great to see the constant flow of information on Twitter. It’s even great to see all of the amazing pictures people share on Pinterest.

While there’s a good side to social media, there’s also a dark side many people get caught up in.

The Dark Side Of Social Media

By using social media in the wrong way, you can begin to destroy your influence. Amazingly, many people forget that social media is a very public form of communication.

Your employers can see what you post on social media. Your employees can see what you post on social media. Your friends and family can see what you post on social media.

Top Posts And Commenters For July 2015

Was it only me or did July fly by? Between the fourth of July holiday, birthdays for my wife and my dad, and the daily grind, July seemed over in a blink.

That’s the way the world works, though. If we’re not careful, we can let our time fly by, never able to reclaim it.

Even though time flew by, I can’t complain about it. Pam and I got in a vacation, I was able to spend lots of time with family, and we were able to enjoy a great variety of music.

Make time for your priorities. It’s worth it.

July 2015

With that, we’re now running headlong into August. Summer is cooling down and Christmas is just around the corner.

The beginning of August also means it’s time for a bit of introspection. It’s time to review the month of July and see where things on the blog ended.
