Lead like Jesus: Be responsive and demanding

While reading my Bible, I came across a scripture that I have read many times. It was the story of the paralyzed man by the Pool of Bethesda that happens in the gospel of John.

The paralyzed man was at the pool to be healed of his paralysis. He believed this would happen if he were to be the first to enter the water after it had stirred. Being paralyzed, he never made it into the pool.

On this day Jesus came by and told the man he was healed. To take up his mat and go home. Your sins are forgiven.

This is the part of the story that I have always heard and knew. Jesus had healed the man and forgave him his sins.

Jesus was being responsive in his actions towards the paralyzed man.

Why does this happen? Many computer users will choose passwords that they feel are easy to remember.

Weak passwords can be an open door to your email account, bank account, or even website!

Unfortunately, they usually choose passwords that hackers and bots (programs that search for vulnerable passwords) can easily decipher.

Here are a list of popular passwords that were revealed when accounts from a popular site was hacked:

  1. 123456
  2. password
  3. iloveyou
  4. abc123
  5. qwerty

Do you notice anything about these passwords? Here are the things that I notice:

  • They are short. Most were six characters or less
  • When they contain numbers, they are in numerical order

Think of all the good things in your life.

Money. Family. Talents. Hobbies. Career.

All of these items are GOOD. Some may even be great.

To you, these are your RICHES.

They are so good that you want to share them with others. You want to bless them with the experience.

But I want you to STOP!

Not because it sharing these good things is bad. I want you to stop because you can bless others in a better way.

What would happen if instead of sharing your talent or hobby with someone, you encouraged and helped them find their own talent?

You would have done the greatest good you could do for someone. You would have helped reveal their own riches.

Lets say you:

Traffic stats for the website seemed odd for the month. January started off as the best month so far. First week traffic more than doubled. The second and third week saw a dramatic drop that caused me concern. And the final week picked up to levels that were seen in December and early January.
