Stop Getting Lost In The Process

We’re all trying to get somewhere or become something better.

We purchase programs that promise to make us a better person. We attend seminars that are supposed to improve our self-esteem. We watch videos that promise to show us the way.

What’s The Process?

 

The process is simple. The process is the journey we take from where we’re at to where we belong.

God has a plan for our lives. In the end, we should wind up there.

But we struggle and fight and resist the plans God has for us.

We think we KNOW where we’re headed so we push and pull and trip and fall and mess up.

We want our way in the process.

You’re Being Pursued

Today, I am writing as a contributor to the Christian Writers Blog Chain. The theme for June is “Pursuit.” If you are a Christian author or writer, be sure to check out Christianwriters.com to network with others.

Our mailbox has been flooded with credit card offers recently. Finding two, three, or even four being delivered in a day has been the norm.

It’s annoying. We wind up throwing away so much paper, plastic, wasted postage.

But in the same breath, it’s exciting. Someone, or some company, is pursuing me.

They want my business. They want me to apply. They’ve approved me!

It all sounds so exciting. I can see how people easily fall into the trap of multiple credit cards and debt.

We all long for that pursuit. For someone to want us.

Book Review: This thing of ours: How faith saved my mafia marriage

This week we take a day to celebrate love, on the 14th it will be Valentine’s Day. During this week I will be posting on a subject that I have been wanting to for awhile, relationships. First up is a book review regarding a Mafia marriage.

A dancer named Cammy meets Michael Franzese. She soon falls in love and marries Michael. Little does she know that he has ties to the mafia.

Cammy Franzese recounts her experience of meeting and marrying Michael.
