People have not-so-perfect stories and Mike Foster has helped them walk through those times. He’s been reminding them that they’re loved and loved by us.

There’s something sacred about sitting with someone and sharing our mess-ups, our mistakes, our trials. They’re the situations in life that we hide and try to cover up. They’re also what creates something special within our community.

What is the definition of uncommon fellowship? Head-turning, jaw-dropping, never-would’ve-imagined association.

And if we can get this idea, nothing will ever be the same.

There was once upon a time, that uncommon fellowship happened in our faith. Merchants, slaves and owners, prostitutes, tax gatherers, Jews, Roman Centurions…

Was there ever a more diverse group?

This was the beginning of Christianity.

Jesus predicted uncommon fellowship. A bunch of uncommon people would come together for a common purpose (Matthew 16:18).

The Evolutionary Leader With Timothy Carroll

The Answers From Leadership Podcast Episode 022

Today’s guest on the Answers From Leadership podcast is Timothy Carroll. Timothy can hardly remember a time when leadership and performance weren’t important themes in life.

The son of an entrepreneur, he was raised in an environment where leadership values were prized, and no one was surprised when, later in life, Timothy started a successful business of his own. An avid sportsman from childhood, Timothy mastered Barefoot Waterskiing and was chosen at just 16 years old to represent New Zealand at four World Championships.

Timothy believes you should never stop learning, and he has continually sought out the best in the world to learn from. He has devoted his career to sharing his insights with people who aspire to lead in the corporate world and the world of sports

Evolutionary Leadership with Timothy Carroll

How To Keep Motivated As A Leader

You can’t keep driving a car without filling up the gas tank or charging the electric car’s battery. By continuing to drive without fueling up, the car will eventually leave you stranded in the middle of nowhere.

We can apply the same principle to our leadership. But instead of gas or electricity as our fuel, our fuel is motivation.

And sometimes we lose that motivation. We forget how to keep motivated…

You can stay a motivated leader

What Is Motivation

We can only go so long before we run out of juice. Especially if we forget what our motivation is.

Motivation is our desire or willingness to do something.

I have to muster up the motivation to write on a daily basis. I have to find the motivation to record or edit a podcast.
