Jesus wasn’t just spiritual. He was fully God and fully man. He suffered profusely for us and He didn’t have to.

The suffering Jesus went through was so profound so I decided I had to start my talk with the ending (Sorry, I’m not going to spoil it for you just yet).

Suffering is part of our lives. It is redemptive. This doesn’t mean you want to suffer.

Danielle Strickland loves Jesus and loves people. She is the author of 5 books. And she is also an Officer at the Salvation Army.

In the movie Hercules, one of Hercules’ men covered a bloody wound and told him to never, ever let them see you bleed.

Yet look at the most courageous, valiant man ever: Jesus. He hung on a cross and let the world see the Him bleed. He left the splendor of Heaven to come to earth.

Jesus was the anti-Hercules. The Hercules myth is the anti-Jesus. Jesus is the definition of courage.

We spend our lives trying to avoid our own humanity. We pick up swords and pretend to be great.

We’ve got so little time life when you consider the brevity of life. Life is short. Shorter than we often like to admit.

Something amazing will happen. You’ll begin to realize who you are and what you’re becoming. It’s truly stunning.

The Catalyst For The Extraordinary

A single act of courage is often the catalyst for extraordinary. From Martin Luther to Rosa Parks, single acts of courage change the world.

We often don’t think about change and the extraordinary in this way. But it is the story over and over again.

Abraham listened to God when he said to go. Seeds of the future were planted.

Joseph came from Abraham’s lineage. And then Joseph had the courage to forgive his brothers.
