Jumanji: The Next Level is the 4th movie in the Jumanji series. The first movie in the Jumanji series was the Robin Williams Jumanji. It was followed by the sequel Zathura: A Space Adventure. Then, the board game mysteriously became a video game with Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Now, we have The Next Level.

Was there really a need for another Jumanji movie? No… I don’t think there was. Is Jumanji: The Next Level enjoyable? Yes… it was.

Jumanji: The Next Level sees the cast of Welcome To The Jungle return to the world of Jumanji along with two new characters, Eddie (Danny DeVito) and Milo (Danny Glover). Angelina Jolie returns as the misunderstood Maleficent in Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil. In this sequel to the 2014 Maleficent, Maleficent and her goddaughter Aurora (Elle Fanning) have their bonds tested by a new threat.

Aurora, the Queen of the Moors, has fallen for Prince Phillip (Harris Dickinson). His mother, Queen Ingrith (Michelle Pfeiffer), learns of their love and begins to plot against the world Aurora has lived in for so long. Queen Ingrith sees an opportunity to rid the world of the fairy creatures living in the Moors.

When Aurora, Maleficent, and Diaval (Sam Riley) meet with Prince Phillips family, things begin to go south quickly. Queen Ingrith enrages Maleficent. While the moment is hot, Queen Ingrith stabs her husband, King John (Robert Lindsay) with the enchanted needle from the spindle. Quotes And Leadership Lessons From IT: Chapter Two

At the end of the original IT movie, the Losers Club (Bill Denbrough (Jaeden Martell), Ben Hanscom (Jeremy Ray Taylor), Beverly Marsh (Sophia Lillis), Richie Tozier (Finn Wolfhard), Mike Hanlon (Chosen Jacobs), Eddie Kaspbrak (Jack Dylan Grazer), and Stanley Uris (Wyatt Oleff)) believe they have defeated the evil clown Pennywise (Bill Skarsgård). In It: Chapter Two, we learn they only wounded Pennywise. He makes a violent return 27 years later to the town of Derry, Maine.

It: Chapter Two reunites the Losers Club 27 years to Derry. Mike had stayed in Derry to keep watch over the town. He knew he had to watch for Pennywise’s return. He was wise to do so.

When Pennywise returned, Mike (Isaiah Mustafa) began to call the old Losers (Bev (Jessica Chastain), Bill (James McAvoy), Richie (Bill Hader), Eddie (James Ransone), and Stanley (Andy Bean). Quotes And Leadership Lessons From Overcomer Movie

Overcomer is the latest film from the Kendrick brothers, Alex and Stephen. They produce movies under the company of Kendrick Brothers Productions. Since they’ve begun working on movies, the Kendrick brothers have released multiple films including War Room, Courageous, Fireproof, and Facing The Giants.

Their faith-based approach to movie making is astonishing. They began creating movies with their church, Sherwood Baptist Church because they discovered many people said a movie leaves a more lasting impact than a church sermon. This is also one of the reasons I created the Reel Leadership series. Passing on leadership lessons from movies because a movie is easier to remember than a seminar or leadership conference.

Quotes And Leadership Lessons From Angel Has Fallen

Gerard Butler has become a favorite actor of mine. Ever since I saw him in the great movie Machine Gun Preacher, I try to keep an eye out for new movies from him. I’ve missed a few, like the previous movies in the Has Fallen series. These movies include Olympus Has Fallen and London Has Fallen. I’m glad I didn’t miss Angel Has Fallen.

Angel Has Fallen picks up after London Has Fallen and sees Butler return as Secret Service agent Mike Banning and Morgan Freeman as President Trumbull. The two play well off of one another when they’re both on screen together. Their co-stars also bring energy to their roles.

Angel Has Fallen tells the story of a disgraced Mike Banning as he has been framed for an assassination attempt on President Trumbull. The rest of Banning’s Secret Service team did not survive the attempt and all the evidence points back at Banning.  Read more...
