5 Leadership Books To Read In April 2023

Reading, or continuous learning, is something every leader needs to do. That’s why every month I bring you five books to consider reading. These are books by men and women who have been there and done that. They have the experience, knowledge, and practicality to get you from point A to point B.

This month’s list consists of five more great books for leaders. They are enjoyable, easy reads that will take you to the next level. If you don’t enjoy reading physical books, consider picking up an audiobook version. All but one of the books on this list have that option for you!

PS: Read to the end to discover how you can win one of the books on this month’s list.

Can You Win The Hearts Of Your Team?

Win The Heart Book Giveaway

What do you think about when you hear “Win the heart?” Does your mind wander to the love of your life and how you wooed her off her feet? Or does it make you think of your little princess and how she constantly makes you fall in love with her over and over again?

Three Ways To Better Navigate Turbulence

Whenever people tell me they want to be a leader, I always ask them ‘why’? Leadership isn’t easy. It’s usually pretty thankless. People will always have a list of things you should be doing better. And, of course, what’s on some people’s lists (listen better) is not on others (speak up more).

Leadership is a rollercoaster ride of highs and lows. When things go right, your team will get the credit but when things go wrong, you’ll take the blame. And by the way, everyone will tell you that you should be happy about that (when inside, you’re in need of recognition as much as the next person). Yes, leadership is gratifying. It’s amazing to see people blossom and to be able to guide and shape direction. I absolutely love leading, but I would be lying if I didn’t say that there are days when I wish I didn’t feel as passionately about leadership. It might make life a little less complicated.

How 3 Questions Can Change Your Leadership

As a man of faith, I believe God can change our lives for the better. Through Him we receive the ability to persevere and have hope for a better tomorrow.

In 2 Chairs: The Secret That Changes Everything, Bob Beaudine’s latest book, Bob shares 3 questions that will disrupt our lives. I believe these 3 questions can also change your leadership.

2 Chairs and 3 questions to change your life

The 3 Questions That Will Change Everything

The premise behind 2 Chairs is that we need to spend time conversing, not just talking TO, God. By using 2 chairs we will have a visual representation of our conversation with God.

This is an amazing premise. Yet, I love what Bob’s mother shared with him at one point in his life.

What were those questions?

1. Does God know your situation?

2. Is it too hard for Him to handle?
