Hypnotic is the latest film starring Ben Affleck and directed by Robert Rodriguez. It’s an action/mystery movie that has more twists than you can shake a stick at. Because of this, it makes some of the leadership lessons you might find in the movie seem null or void. While the twists change things, the lessons remain.

So, what is the movie Hypnotic about? Affleck’s character, Danny Rourke, is investigating his daughter’s disappearance. He remembers bits and pieces of what happened but cannot find his daughter.

The Flash (Ezra Miller) is a speedster in the DC Comics and movie universe. He gained his superhuman speed from an accident at the Central City Police Department as he worked on a case. Lightning struck the chemicals he was sitting in front of and was dowsed in a chemical bath.

In the new Flash movie, the Flash, Barry Allen, still loses his mother, Nora (Maribel Verdú). He also loses his father, Henry Allen (Ron Livingston), when he is wrongly accused of killing Nora.

Everything that happens in the movie is a direct result of the murder of Barry’s mother. Barry decides to travel back in time to change what happened, to save his mother. Barry’s actions change the world he knows and the new worlds of others.  Read more...

Whenever I hear about a DC Comics movie, I become nervous. They’ve not had the best track record in translating comic books into movies. Though, they have gotten better over the years.

With recent movies like Suicide Squad, Batman Vs. Superman, and Wonder Woman DC Comics is making a name for itself in the comic book to movie world.

Leadership lessons and quotes from Justice League the movie

Walking into Justice League, I was excited yet hesitant. Would the movie critics be right? Or would DC Comics pull off the impossible and have a well-done comic book movie?

Thankfully I found out for you. DC Comics did an amazing job bringing the Justice League to life.
