3 Things To Check When You Get The Gut Rumbles

Your gut rumbles. Deep down you feel something is off.

But you brush off the feeling.

The blame is placed on the bad Chinese food you had last night or the spicy chili you had for breakfast. The gut rumblings are more physical than intellectual. Or so you tell yourself.

Listen To Your Gut

God has given us an incredible intuition. Even without knowing all of the facts, we can often tell when there’s danger or something isn’t right.

You know what I’m talking about…

The scared feeling you have walking down a darkened alley

The inability to breath as you jump out of a perfectly good airplane

The small voice in the back of your head telling you you’re about to make a bad decision

Your intuition is trying to tell you something. That’s the gut rumblings I’m talking about.

That’s right. We need to step up our game and begin using adult language. It’s the way you’re going to move ahead in the world.

Now, don’t get me wrong. I’m not talking about profanity laced tirades, four-letter words, or depreciating language.

I’m talking about real adult language.

Encouraging Phrases

You can begin using adult language by speaking encouraging phrases. Tell others the great job they’re doing. Shower them with praise.

Here’s a few ways you can speak like an adult by encouraging others.

  • I trust you
  • You’re awesome
  • You did a great job
  • Thanks for your help

Hopeful Words

Next, begin implementing hopeful words. These words will raise others up and fill them with hope.

The Power Of Gratitude

What would you say if I told you that you could have more happiness in your life? And all you had to do was make a simple, yet often difficult, change in your attitude?

I hope you’d jump at the chance to learn the secret. Well, today is your lucky day as I’m letting you in on this little secret.

Thank You

That secret is Learn To Be Grateful.

What does that mean? Dictionary.com defines it as: warmly or deeply appreciative of kindness or benefits received.

To break it down even further, it means to be thankful.

Express your gratitude to those around you. When your neighbor has come over and snowblown your driveway, go over and tell them how much you appreciated it. If a fellow shopper holds the door for you as you’re entering the store, say “thank you.” Or if an author has touched your life, send them a note telling them that.

Are You Watching Your Attitude Indicator?

If you have ever seen the inside of an airplane cockpit, you know that there is an instrument panel.

The instrument panel contains many different gauges and switches. One of these is the Attitude Indicator.

You may be asking “What purpose does an attitude indicator serve?”

The main purpose of the attitude indicator is to tell the pilot the orientation of the airplane relative to earth. Whether the nose is up or the nose is down.

This is important knowledge to have because it affects the performance of the airplane.

If the nose is up, the plane slows and starts to ascend. Nose down and the plane increases in speed and descends.

Could you imagine what would happen if the pilot did not know whether the nose was up or down?

Just like the airplane, YOU need to have an attitude indicator.
