A Reel Leadership Article

I’ve been excited to see the new Fantastic Four movie for quite some time. When you break down their story, it’s one of leadership, through and through.

Reed Richards and crew have a vision. They execute on the vision. The vision doesn’t go as planned. They have to run with the consequences.

Top Posts And Commenters For July 2015

Was it only me or did July fly by? Between the fourth of July holiday, birthdays for my wife and my dad, and the daily grind, July seemed over in a blink.

That’s the way the world works, though. If we’re not careful, we can let our time fly by, never able to reclaim it.

Even though time flew by, I can’t complain about it. Pam and I got in a vacation, I was able to spend lots of time with family, and we were able to enjoy a great variety of music.

Make time for your priorities. It’s worth it.

With that, we’re now running headlong into August. Summer is cooling down and Christmas is just around the corner.

The beginning of August also means it’s time for a bit of introspection. It’s time to review the month of July and see where things on the blog ended.

10 Leadership Quotes From Captain America: The Winter Soldier

A Reel Leadership Article

One of my favorite comic book characters, next to Wolverine, has to be Captain America. His story is amazing.

Steve Rogers started off as a scrawny boy who couldn’t cut it in the army, even though he wanted to serve his country. He was recruited for the super-soldier program and became a flying success.

Isn’t this much like our leadership journeys? We’re told we’re not cut out for it, we look for another way, and we become leaders others look up to? Leadership lessons from Captain America: The Winter SoldierLast Friday, Marvel released the newest entry into the Captain America film series, Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

My wife and I decided to make this movie a mini-date night as we both enjoy comic book movies. We were both impressed by the storyline of the movie and the action. It was a great flick and one I’d recommend.
