Leadership Resource: NeuYear Calendar

As a leader, your life is probably pretty busy. You’ve got meetings multiple times a week, conferences, and outside activities.

Keeping track of this can be difficult. I know it has been for me.

NeuYear Calendar

Today, I’d like to introduce you to a great leadership resource I’ve discovered called the NeuYear Calendar. The calendar retails for $30 but NeuYear was kind enough to provide me with a special discount code to save you 30%. Read to the end of the post to discover how you can claim this exclusive discount.

What I Like About The NeuYear Calendar

The NeuYear calendar is laid out so you can see the whole year at a glance. This makes planning easier as you can see your whole year as you’re writing in key dates and times. There’s no having to flip through a paged calendar and backtrack to insure you’re not duplicating events over multiple months.

5 Book Recommendations For The Rest Of 2012

There’s a saying: “Not all readers are leaders but all leaders are readers.”

That can take the form of a physical book, an eBook, an audio book, or various other ways of consuming the information. The important thing is you’re reading.

I’ve done quite a bit myself this year. I’m over my goal of 24 books for the year and continuing strong.

Through these 24 books, I obtained great ideas, new insights, and created new thought patterns.

All from picking up a book.

Today, I’d like to share with you what I feel are 5 books you should read before the end of the year.

    1. EntreLeadership by Dave Ramsey – Dave shares years of insight into how he does business.  He gives you the nitty gritty on how you can build a successful business. All while staying out of debt. One of the best leadership books I’ve picked up all year.

Book Review- Platform: Get Noticed In A Noisy World by Michael Hyatt

This is a guest review by Kimanzi Constable who blogs about finding work that you love and chasing your dreams. He is a author, national speaker and life coach, you can read his blog here or follow him on Twitter here.

I have the privilege of being on Michael Hyatt’s Platform Launch Team (along with Joe), so I received an early copy of the book. This book could literally be an entire college course, it has that much value.

Movie Review: October Baby

My wife and I were invited to a free preview screening of a movie that will release on Friday, March 23rd, 2012.

That movie is October Baby.

The movie, October Baby, tells the story of Hannah, a young woman who collapses during a theatrical play.

After countless medical tests, the results come back. Her health problems are due to her difficult birth.

Along with this truth, she learns that she had been adopted after a failed abortion attempt. This news sends Hannah on a search to find her birth mother and her true identity.

If after watching the movie you feel something like this couldn’t happen, you’re wrong. October Baby is loosely based on the true life story of Gianna Jessen.

I enjoyed the overall storyline of the movie. It seemed to flow naturally and was entertaining.
