Quotes And Leadership Lessons From Mile 22

1. Learn to keep calm and working on:

The CIA had placed health monitors within their agents. As Mile 22 opens, you see the CIA monitoring the heart rates of James Silva, Alice Kerr (Lauren Cohan of The Walking Dead fame), and Sam Snow (Ronda Rousey) as they’re about the takedown a dangerous asset.

Do You Need To Be Saved From Success?

I’ve recently begun pondering what success looks like again. Is it selling a million copies of Reel Leadership? Is it reaching 10 million people with my message on leadership? Or is it something else?

Success isn't what we think it is

These thoughts have been running through my mind. They’re drawing me back to new questions all the time.

They’ve gone from the questions I only asked at the opening of this article to new questions…

How many lives have I impacted? Would I be okay with truly impacting only one life? Where does my energy need to be focused to be most effective? What does effectiveness really look like?

I don’t know. I really don’t. But I think I need to be saved from my idea of success. You need to as well.

Greatness Comes At A Cost

Everyone talks about wanting to be great. They claim they want to make a difference in the world.

But is that the truth? Do people really want to be great?

I don’t believe they do. Greatness comes at a cost. A cost many people aren’t willing to pay.

Greatness will cost you:

Your time

Your energy

Your money

Your effort

Many times people don’t reach the level of greatness within them because they’re unwilling to pay the cost to be great. They want to do the least amount of work for the greatest amount of return.

This doesn’t work in real life. To make progress, to become better, you have to pay the price.

Quotes And Leadership Lessons From Antboy

A Reel Leadership Article

This past weekend was a busy one (and I’m not just saying that!) The annual Unity Christian Music Festival was Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I ran a half-marathon distance. And there was the True Believers Fest by Marquis Comics where comic fans, wrestlers, and more came together. While it was a great weekend, it put a damper on my movie watching and I was unable to get out to the theater.

The sad part is, there are some great movies in the theater that haven’t received the Reel Leadership treatment. Movies like Mission Impossible: Fallout, Christopher Robin, and The Meg.

So, I browsed Netflix and found a film that had peaked my curiosity before. It looked silly and fun. That movie? Antboy.

Antboy tells the story of a 12-year old boy Pelle Nøhrmann (Oscar Dietz). He was bitten by a super-ant and given superpowers, much like Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider and became Spider-Man.

Prior to putting this together, I’ve done some research and I’ve asked a few questions too. Acceleration in life doesn’t just happen. It is greatly influenced by the group of people, friends, and colleagues you associate with. The type of information and probably orientation you have. These enhance your ability and capability to reach your goals early in life.
