21 Leadership Lessons And Quotes From Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 Out Of The Shadows

A Reel Leadership Article

Cowabunga dude! That’s how I felt when I heard Michael Bay was going to be back for another Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.

I’ve always been drawn to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I think the reason lies in the fact that each turtle is so different from the other.

Much like us. We’re all different but we can all work together.

With that said, let’s start this post off right. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out Of The Shadows was full of fun and laughter. We heard laughter from the audience (or should I say I laughed out loud plenty of times) during the movie. There was also clapping and sounds of enjoyment coming from those attending.

Tally Your Wins And Defeat Self-Doubt

self-doubt can be overcome

All these thoughts flooded my mind. So much so that I had held off releasing my podcast for years even though I had purchased podcasting equipment years before.

My Blue Yeti microphone was purchased 2 years prior to the launch of the podcast. My webcam was purchased before that.

I had the goods. I didn’t have the confidence.

Tally Your Wins

But as I continued blogging, something began to change. I began to feel more confident. I felt like I could offer something new and different in the podcast world.

Why was this?

Because I began to tally my wins.

You can beat adversity and stress

What else do you want us to know about you, Sean?

Overcoming adversity is what I started You Leading You from. My family and I had a period of homelessness.

After this trying period, I took the bull by the horns only to crash.

From this crash, I realized he wasn’t doing much. Sure, I was busy but I wasn’t leaving a legacy. That had to change.

How did you get into leadership and become the kind of leader you are today?
