This month brought a good mix of old content and new content to the most viewed top posts. Half were 3 months or older with the rest falling into the month of October.

Seeing this once again reinforces the fact that you need quality, evergreen content. It brings in traffic and helps readers understand your content.

Thanks to each and everyone of you who have commented on the blog. I hope you’re gaining as much insight from each other as I am.

For the month of November I’ll be giving away two books.

Quitter by Jon Acuff will go to the top commenter. Neighbors and Wise Men by Tony Kriz will go to the commenter with the second most comments.

Other News

I still have the desire to put together an eBook. I’m taking the challenge by Copyblogger to complete one in the month of November. So, I’ve got a favor to ask of you. I’m looking for a topic for the eBook. What aspect of leadership would you like to see me write on? Please let me know in the comment section.

Question: If you’re a blogger, what was your hottest post? If you’re not a blogger, share a post that had a great impact. Please share your thoughts in the comment section below.

  • My top post this month (October) was Finite Disappointment, Infinite Hope –

Thanks so much for the mention (and the book – I’ve been eying Quitter up for a while).  Congrats on your month!

    • Jon, thanks for being such a great part of the community. It’s always fun interacting with you and seeing you interact with the other readers.

      • Hey Joe, Thanks for the clarification on Quitter.  I didn’t mean to presume that I would be the top commenter for November.  Looking forward to November here in your blogging community.

  • Congrats on writing the ebook! How about leading when no one else is.

    •  Thanks Kimanzi for the suggestion. I’ll take it into consideration. Looking forward to knocking out EBookWriMo.

  • Yeah, I made the top 10! Wooohooo  : )

    • You sure did Juan! Congrats on getting there. How as your month?

  • Congrats on consistent growth Joe and thanks for the mention.

My top post for October was a guest post by J Iregbu “Will you marry me”

    • You’re welcome Ngina. It’s always a pleasure to mention others who are doing great and participating in the community.

  • Wow, I made the top ten commenters!  You’re much more on top of your stats than I am.  I check mind once in awhile, but don’t completely understand them or how to really increase them.  I just figure it’s time, persistence, and faith.

    • Yes you did Dan! Congrats!

What are you using to track your stats? Google Analytics or something else?

      • Google analytics.  I was doing better early this summer, but have lessened my posts. I’m going to be doing some upgrades to my blog early next year as I gear up for my second book release.

        • I’ll be looking forward to those improvements Dan!
