Quotes And Leadership Lessons From Adam Driver And 65 Movie

My latest book, Reel Leadership, is now available on Amazon. If you love movies and leadership, you will love this book.

65 is the new science-fiction movie starring Adam Driver as Mills, a pilot whose ship crash lands on an alien world (which turns out to be Earth). The plot thickens as he discovers he’s not alone on the planet. One passenger survived. The survivor is a young girl named Koa (Ariana Greenblatt).

The movie is an interesting film. The cast is small. Looking at IMDB, they have a total of five, yes five, cast members listed. This may be one of the smallest cast of actors since Will Smith’s I Am Legend. While there are five cast members listed, a majority of the film focuses on two, Mills and Koa.

There are also a couple of twists and turns. You think the film is going to be a dinosaur movie. To an extent, that’s true. However, the threat in the movie turns from dinosaurs to an impending asteroid strike.

Quotes And Leadership Lessons From Jesus Revolution

A Reel Leadership Article

My latest book, Reel Leadership, is now available on Amazon. If you love movies and leadership, you will love this book.

Jesus Revolution is a new movie directed by Jon Erwin and Brent McCorkle. The film was written by Jon Erwin, Jon Gunn, and Greg Laurie (based on his book). A cool fact I found out is that one of my friends on Facebook, Matt Dickerson, was part of the marketing team for the movie.

Jesus Revolution examines the Jesus Revolution that rolled through California (and the country) in the 1970s. Greg Laurie (Joel Courtney) is a young man struggling to find his way. He seeks hope, love, and joy in drugs, women, and more.

Greg doesn’t find what he’s looking for in any of these activities. Only when he’s had a bad trip and the driver of the van he was in almost crashed does he realize things need to change. He stumbles out of the van and runs into a hippie preacher named Lonnie Frisbee (Jonathan Roumie) that had been given the pulpit by Pastor Chuck Smith (Kelsey Grammer) at Calvary Chapel.

Quotes And Leadership Lessons From Terminator: Dark Fate

“I’ll be back…” are the famous words spoken by Arnold Schwarzenegger in his iconic role as a Terminator in the original movie. And he has been back… Again and again.

Terminator: Dark Fate is the sixth movie in the Terminator series. However, it doesn’t take place as the sixth movie.

Main cast of Terminator: Dark Fate

Terminator: Dark Fate takes place in the same timeline as The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgement Day. If you’ve watched Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Terminator Salvation, or Terminator Genisys, those movies take place in an alternate timeline.

Dark Fate takes place 28 years after Judgement Day. There’s now a new threat. The machines have now sent a Rev-9 Terminator (Gabriel Luna) unit to dispatch a young woman, Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes). She is the hope for the future resistance.

The Problems People Have With Millennials

Leading Millennials

Whenever I take a look at millennials and the problems people have with them, I have to chuckle. Most of the problems aren’t common only to millennials.

Every generation has had its outspoken, arrogant, and “selfish” individuals. These are the problems you often hear about the millennial generation. But these are problems every generation have caused.

So, what’re the real problems people have with millennials?

The Problems People Have With Millennials

1. Millennials desire and live out their passions:

Take a minute and listen to a millennial. Ask them why they work and what they want to do with their lives. Their answer will differ from yours.

You might say you desire to have a nuclear family, a stable, well-paying job, and a home base. The items you want tend to be safety and security. To do this, you are willing to put your passions to the side and work for the man.
