Live-Blogging From Catalyst Atlanta 2019

This year’s Catalyst Conference marks the 20th anniversary for one of the best Christian leadership conferences. In previous years, I’ve live-blogged Catalyst Atlanta as a part of the conference.

This year will be different. I am not live-blogging the event as an official part of Catalyst. I will be live-blogging the event in an unofficial capacity. This doesn’t change the great content that I will be sharing or the amazing speaker line-up you will be able to read about.

I’m in awe of the Catalyst 2019 speaker line-up. They’ve brought in some heavy hitters. You won’t be disappointed with the content these speakers share.

Carlos Whittaker Of Good Courage Catalyst Atlanta

Being human is hard. But there is hope.

Sin creeps in. It sits in the corner. And we keep letting sin sit there.

The good news is, there is hope. There is hope in surrender.

We have to get to the point where we’re not striving for courage. Courage is found in surrender.

Surrender looks different for everyone.

Carlos’ father was a preacher and he was doing a revival. A lady came to him and asked him to pray that God will clean the cobwebs. He prayed for her.

Christine Caine Catalyst Atlanta 2017 Of Good Courage

Christine starts out her talk by sharing about her family and then goes right into the Word. Joshua 5 is the text she is using.

I want to continue to be courageous. You can ride on the momentum of what you’ve done. It’s no longer courage but momentum and that’s not good.

How Do You Continue To Be Courageous?

Many people have stepped into the first part of what God has promised. They’re there but not moving forward. What do you have to do to continue to possess the land God has given you and be courageous?

Healthy organizations do something special. When organizations are healthy, everyone understands why everyone else is important.

Think about a football or baseball team. While not everyone gets the same face time, everyone is important. The pitcher needs to throw the ball, the catcher needs to catch the ball, and so on. A great baseball needs to have every type of player on their team.
